I intended to purchase this book to help me understand the many functions of computers and its applications, but found my son wanting it even more, so I gave it to him as a gift. He uses it extensively throughout his studies. It allowed his grades to increase by folds. Easy step by step instructions and visualization help to determine the parts and applications.

When I received my delivery of the comptia A+ desk reference, I thought it would take me two years to finish. I'm on my second week and I'm half way through. The reading is easy and interesting.

This book is really great. It will tell you everything about the computer from software to hardware. Including Operating Systems and security! It include a CD in the back, which can help you study for A+ Cert. The book prepare a lot of things of what you should know. I really enjoy reading this, and it is easy to study. I brought it in to my high school, and carried it around with me, and peoples usually don't know about it! And I was surprised, and I tell them it just like a textbook about to know the computers.

I received this book in the mail excited to begin studying for a career in IT. I thought I had a killer deal until I inspected the product carefully and found there was a very large crack in the CD that is included inside. Frustrating to say the least.
