What is an ISBN?

The ISBN is a 10-digit or 13-digit number used for identification. ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number. The ISBN is unique to every book. You can find the ISBN number labeled on the back cover of a book, near the bar code. It is also inside near the copyright information. It is always labeled ISBN. There might be other numbers, but the one you want always has "ISBN" in front of the 10 or 13 digits.

When you enter the 10 or 13 digit ISBN number into our ISBN search field, you do not need to include the dashes. Just type the 10 or 13 digits straight in (Example: 9780012345678).
