The information is concise and clinically relevant! You really don't need much more and can't survive with less than this during intern year. | almost-pocket sized book | Customer Rating: | | I carried this around in my pocket on my internal medicine rotation. It is not a pocket book but it just barely fit as long as I didn't try to put anything else in that pocket. It is handy and a good quick reference book. Not something you would want to study from or use as your primary textbook. | Great Reference | Customer Rating: | | The Washington Manual is like a mini-DiPiro's. It is especially great because it is small enough to be carried in a backpack without the extra weight. The material inside is not too general yet not too overwhelming. Being a pharmacist that have been out of school for a few years, it is a great review of disease states. The book covers the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy for each disease state. | Excellent book | Customer Rating: | | I've had the PDA version of this book's 31st edition and I liked so much that when the 32nd edition came out I could not resist to buy the actual book. It is a great book for a quick review of many topics. I personally complement some of the topics with UptoDate and works great. | A short review of the Washington Manual | Customer Rating: | | A "must have" for the medical practitioner's library. An easily accessible source of reference at the doctor's office or while doing rounds at the hospital. The edition is very much updated. |
