Summaries and Customer Reviews are supplied by Amazon.com The 20 Gap 4-4 Football Defense: How to Use the 'Bend, Don't Break' Principle and Sound Defense to Win With Few Athletes is a 106-page, 8½ -11, soft cover book. This book describes the 20 Gap Defense in detail with full chapters explaining all positions: Tackles, Ends, Inside Linebackers, Outside Linebackers, and Secondary. This book is the product of Bob Altshuler's 20 Gap Defense and my own experience with this defense. This defense has a great potential for the underdeveloped athletes success. This is a 'we'll give you 2-3 yards'defense. It forces an opponent to utilize extreme discipline, sustain long drives, and become mistake free to successfully negotiate the field. As a 'stand alone' base defense, it is extremely sound, but when paired with a pressure scheme, it truly becomes a problem defense. In this book, I discuss how to install this defense, how to deal with problem offenses, how to run practice drills, how to adjust to formation variations, and various stunt/coverage installments.
