The writing is very straight forward and easy to understand. It talks about several models of leadership and how those concepts apply to Educational Administration. Each week, my class is reviewing the case studies in the book- which is interesting. They give the vignette, and ask the reader how they would solve the conflict of issue, as a leader. | Finally, the case method applied to education | Customer Rating: | This is easily one of the most thought-provoking books on education that I've had the pleasure of reading. The first half is a general exploration of leadership in the school setting, but the second half is where the book truly shines--60 different case study activities that present real-world situations that appear in the course of the school day and challenge you to solve them. I learned a lot about my leadership style and what I needed to know to become a better leader by reading through them; I think it'd be an invaluable resource for anyone in the principalship.
