Great buy! | Customer Rating: | | I'm taking a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) class. This text was required. Great information, recent statistical info. Great pictures, however, very graphic. Excellent resource! | Forensic Nursing | Customer Rating: | | This is an excellent resource for any forensic nurse involved with patients, law enforcement, etc. It covers the wide range of forensic nursing issues. Lots of excellent contributors and reviewers who are experts in the field. Hats off to Virginia Lynch for being the front runner for so many of us in this field | Informative text | Customer Rating: | | This is a well written, informative text on forensic nursing. The subject matter is addressed in an easy to read/understand format. Obviously the author is well versed on her subject matter. I recommend this text to anyone who is interested in forensics. | Forensic nursing | Customer Rating: | | I have studied forensic nursing through Kaplan University for the last 9 months. I found this textbook to be a wonderful and thorough resource. Covers all the necessary material. | A knowlegable compilation | Customer Rating: | They call Virginia Lynch the godmother of forensic nursing. Her text is packed with information about the many specialties available to the forensic nurse. Ms. Lynch had multiple authors contribute their "best" to this book. Linda Ledray writes about sexual assault, the others write about their own special practice and specialized knowledge in the field. I have to be honest, a few chapters read like "stereo instructions" while others were easier to read and held my interest. I strongly suggest this book for any student or someone who is simply interested in "CSI" type of information. If it is involved with forensics...it's in here. I have already used it multiple times for research and in my own practice. |
