This first-of-its kind text is written for the growing fire administration/officer markets. Author Larry Bennett is both an attorney and a firefighter, and he is well-connected at the University and National Fire Academy levels. This book has been closely monitored by the folks at FESHE, and an online course is being developed around this text by Empire State College for seven campuses. Full of current cases/decisions relevant in today’s communities and lots of related readings/links.
This book is a must for any firefighter!
| Customer Rating: | Mr. Bennett has written an excellent book for fire professionals. He covers a wide range of topics and uses past case law to explain where firefighters have gone wrong. I have always been very interested in fire and EMS law, and this book is by far the most thorough in explaining various cases.
This book should be a mandatory study source for any promotional exam. It would definitely help fire officers to avoid negligence or the grey area surrounding it.
