Good; could be clearer
| Customer Rating:  | | The book is good and it provides rationale for why the skill needs to be done a certain way. I think it could be clearer though because the pictures overlap; you could be reading one skill and looking at a picture for a different skill which can be confusing the first time you're reading the material. And the CD-ROM is useless. It is just a checklist. So if you can get a used text without the cd--go for it. It'll probably be cheaper as well. |
Better than many other skills books

Many times I find myself reading this when I'll say to myself "wow, that is a very important concept or clinical alert regarding this skill but other books did not clue me in on it." Also, the photos are excellent and it is a very well organized and comprehensive book. I don't think you'll be sorry for the investment because it is so helpful whether you are just learning or are already practicing. |
