An essential manual.	Customer Rating:
Each new edition of Lindeburg's manual is better laid-out and easier to read than the previous. This manual was one of only three books on my desk during the P.E. exam, and will remain an important part of my permanent collection. A wealth of information, from concepts to unit conversions to formulas and charts. I wish I had known about this manual during college!

Book is great reference, but Amazon was slow!

This book is a great reference for the PE exam. I take it in April and starting to get into it by having a PE Review class where the profs were great of referencing the book so we can highlight and tab the book. Now I have my own book for we have used my coworkers reference book for several projects especially for retaining wall design or drainage area. So buy this book if you are taking the Civil PE exam! It just took awhile to get the book from Amazon (about 2 weeks to ship & only 2 days to deliver).

Geotechs Beware	Customer Rating:
I have the 10th edition of this book, and it was inadequate for the geotech depth section of the civil PE. Many topics covered on the test were barely mentioned and others weren't included in the 10th edition at all. I suggest you buy additional geotech study materials.

Great book, maybe not for the best price. While studying for the PE, noticed that it is missing a chunk of pages (about 17). It is a large book so I didn't scan through to make sure all the pages were there and I didn't notice until a few months later that they were missing so I can't return it now. Hope I don't need those during the test and that I don't find any more pages missing. I am pretty dissapointed and will definetally be more weary in the future, especially when I spend $162 for a "brand new" book!

Very Useful In Passing the Exam	Customer Rating:
I bought it four weeks before I sit in the exam. I studied it every for at least 4 hours in weekday and at least 8 hours in the weekends. And I have passed the PE! Highly recommend!
