excellent

This book presents neuroscience from an anatomical perspective. It is clear and concise and is appropriate for all levels of learners. The anatomical perspective of photographs and charts provides a level of clarity for all visual learners while the text provides wonderful in- depth descriptions of all pertinent structures.

But......
Customer Rating:  Score = 3 Score = 3 Score = 3 Score = 3 Score = 3
I don't know exactly if this book is good for learners of neuroanatomy or not. But in my opinion, its content and ways of description are too complicated for a beginner to learn. Therefore, as a beginner of neuroanatomy also, I don't recommend beginners to buy this book for study. By the way, does anyone want to recommend a better textbook of neuroanatomy to me? Please tell me as soon as possible.

A book only for review of neuroanatomy
Customer Rating:  Score = 3 Score = 3 Score = 3 Score = 3 Score = 3
We used this book as a reference of our neuroanatomy course. Actually, most neuroanatomy textbooks are not so easy to read. This one is no exception. It only "describes" the nuclei and tracts without giving an understandable explanation. In addition, only brief review can we found in the portion of systemic neuroanatomy, and NEVER can we found any information about development neuroscience. So I don't think this book is apt to strangers of neuroscience. But for those who have some basic knowledge in the field of neuroanatomy. It is a excellent book for brief review.
