Very good
Customer Rating:  Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5
Yes, this book was absolutely as expected. It came to me also bang on time. I am totally satisfied with this product. Not much to write about this, as it is a book and the book is great for any Computer Science student. It presents problems using daily life examples, and that helps a lot in understanding these algorithms.

Thanks.

Awesome Book
Customer Rating:  Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5
Nicely written book. Easy to follow. The authors presented the algorithms very well. A minor complain would be that some of the proofs are too informal for my liking, and some proofs could be simpler. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants an introduction to the theory of computation. Another nice thing is the wide margin. This certainly encourages active learning.

Succinctly presented
Customer Rating:  Score = 4 Score = 4 Score = 4 Score = 4 Score = 4
One of the better algorithm books I have studied. The content is succinctly presented. It does a good job at handling some complex topics. I like the way the book focuses on techniques for designing algorithms. Manages to bring forth important concepts in algorithm design while keeping the book to a manageable size.

Wonderful Book; Some Faults
Customer Rating:  Score = 4 Score = 4 Score = 4 Score = 4 Score = 4
This textbook is details and runs through topics with very strong and interesting examples. The problems make you think, yet are in line with what the book is teaching you.

Unfortunately, some of the descriptions are overly wordy and confusing. Too many variables are introduced in some of the proofs and algorithm designs, making it difficult to keep track of what is what. More diagrams (perhaps step-by-step) would be very useful.

it's said to be brand new, but doesn't look new
Customer Rating:  Score = 2 Score = 2 Score = 2 Score = 2 Score = 2
I purchased it new directly from Amazon but there's no shrink wrap film on the book and both the front cover and the back cover have some scratches by certain shart utils and also kind of stained. And the mail arrived in a large bubble envelope... I remember every time I purchased a new book from Amazon before, it always arrived with a paper box with air cushion. And the supposed new condition is why I'd pay some extra tens of dollars instead of buying a used book. I even suspected for a while that I ordered a "used, but acceptable" one. I thought of mail it back, but the course has begun, and I cannot go along without a textbook...
