I had a great time working through Algebra II for Dummies. I would highly recommend using it with the Workbook however. Algebra II Workbook For Dummies (For Dummies (Math & Science)) If you're already enrolled in an Algebra II class, or just need a review, you can get away without the workbook I suppose. However if you're using this text to learn Algebra II on your own, get the workbook also, and you'll find the both of them a complete treatment on the subject, providing the restatement and practice problems necessary to get a handle on the topics.

The Algebra II for Dummies is an excellent book. It's explainations are thorough and complete. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn Algrebra II.

Learning advanced algebra	Customer Rating:
This book assumes a level of knowledge about Algebra and goes from there. It includes the usual "Dummies" cartoons and funny antics so it is enjoying to read for a "dreaded" subject. Not sure if it has helped me yet though.
