The Photographic Atlas for the Biology Laboratory provides clear photographs and drawings of tissues and organisms similar to specimens seen in a biology laboratory. This new edition of the photographic atlas has been greatly expanded to incorporate additional material found in our Botany and Zoology Atlases. The addition of this material will provide students with a larger library of photographs and a greater likelihood of finding the same specimen they are studying in the laboratory. The terminology matches the terminology found in leading college biology texts. New life cycles have been added to this edition and previously included life cycles have been redrawn to be more accurate and visually appealing. New photographs, re-scanned and or re-imaged photos, new photomicrographs that match more closely what students are likely to observe in the laboratory, and a completely new layout are some of the changes reflected in this new edition. A Photographic Atlas for the Biology Laboratory is a bargain for any student looking to enhance their learning experience inside and outside of the laboratory. | Customer Rating: | | I love this atlas. it comes in so handy for my biology class. nearly all the slides that i look at in the class are represented in the atlas. i wish i had gotten it sooner, though. it would have been very useful for my microbiology & Aantomy/Physiology classes. i would recommend this to anyone taking any college science class. |
A little out of date...
