This CD-ROM with accompanying manual will induce medical, allied health, and undergraduate students to the logic of anatomical thinking and the microscopic structure of the body's tissues. Its correlation of low powers with high power views, the quality of its images, and the ease of using the CD will be particulary attractive features. It is not a full electronic atlas with hyperlinks of pictures to text but rather a review of morphology that supplements the history lab where students look through a microscope at slides of tissue specimens.
Waste of Money
| Customer Rating: | | I had to have this book for the on-line Histology Class I am taking. I find it difficult to read and have to refer to many other books for verification. The CD sounds like it will be great, but as the slides are shown at different magnifications the orientation is changed. I have complained to the school and made a request that they find a different text to use. |
