The NIV study Bible itself is an excellent one, however I was really surprised to receive a navy blue Bible with silver leaf pages. I really wanted it to be black with gold leaf pages. I re-read the listing and contacted Amazon who informed me that they did not have it in black. I returned it.

This Bible meets all of my expectations. Large print, labeled indentions with the abbreviations for the books of the Bible printed on them (indexes) and leather bound. I have used the paper back version of this Bible for several years (until it fell apart) and am well pleased with this NIV translation.

Zondervan NIV Study Bible, Large Print This is an excellent study Bible. I have used it for years and just purchased this one for a friend. It is easy to use and has many wonderful features to enhance your Bible reading and study.

I needed a study bible and all roads I searched led to the NIV Study Bible. I also desired a large print text version and a thumb-index. This bible I purchased is a fantastic bible and with the larger print I can see without squinting and the bible itself is chock-full of information and one item leads to another and that to another and before you know it you have learned so much about that subject it is incredible. I cannot recommend this bible any more highly. If I were a movie reviewer I would give this a hearty two thumbs UP!
