As a shoe designer I own just about every book on shoes there is out there and I think this could be the best one yet. It is written by a real expert and the photos are excellent. It is a true comprehensive guide to the history of footwear fashion and also like a gorgeous glossy magazine with amazing fashion photography and historical references. I highly recommend this book to not just those in the industry but also as an attractive coffee table book.
