Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Great book for new parents I used this book for a psych class I had (not with one of the authors, but with one of their colleagues at the same university; had one of the authors for my general psych class though :). It is a great resource for new parents because it tells you what's going on throughout your child's development and things you can do to help stimulate them at various stages along the way. A Must-read for all parents and educators We used this text in a child development class with one of the authors as professor. The writing is clear and easy to understand, yet the text is filled with great research examples.
