Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Disappointed My text book was to be sent to me in GOOD condition when I received it, it was far from GOOD condition it is in very poor condition, very heavy highlighting, water damage, enough said book is in POOR condition. I have contacted them they are prompt to respond emails but I have been given the run around. It has been over a week they first said they were going to send me back a new book and said they had sent it out PRIORITY MAIL. I never received the book. I then tried contacting them and they said they were sold out and would get a partner vendor to send out and I would receive soon, yea I still never received it. I contacted them AGAIN and guess what? They failed to tell me that their vendor was ALSO SOLD OUT! I am still waiting for my book. I have been promised for it to come in the near future... is it going to happen? I don't know I will be sure to keep people posted so they know not to purchase from this company! Although their customer service due to emailing back promptly is excellent their quality and promises of the books is POOR! Very Indepth Look of Societal Factors Affecting Education This book was a required text for one of my Administration Credential courses. The text is timely as Tozer and others tie current perspectives regarding race, gender, social class, and politics to those of the past. Each chapter highlights at least one key figure that helped shape the educational landscape (e.g., Thomas Jefferson, Booker T. Washington, Robert Conant, etc.)In addition each chapter deals with the social climate (social theory/philosophy), the politics, and the economy of the time and their effects on American Education. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
