Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Good book on AUSTRAILIAN bikers Pretty good read....I probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was entirely about bike clubs in the 'down under' country though...... aussie writers Good book but Arthur Veno tends to down grade the bikers of the U.S.A , not sure why seeing as he was born here & all those so called bikies all want to ride Harleys anyway. Brotherhoods This was a very informative if somewhat dry look at the Outlaw community. It was enjoyable but hard to read at parts. On the whole it is a good read for someone who may come into contact the fringes of this society. One of the worst books ever. This was one of the most poorly written books I have ever read. Even if one can get past all the Australian colloquialisms, it is still full of B-Movie generalizations and nonsense. The author does not ride and is clueless about anything related to two wheels. The author needs an editor and a proofreader. I don't know what the Australian word would be, but here in America, Veno would be called a tool. Generalities I am having a difficult time finishing this book. It is packed full of generalities and honestly a bit boring. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
