I have British friends and it is really true in many respects. This is a very Entertaining book would recomend it.

As a citizen of a former British Colony, I found in the book many answers to English behaviour. But you would do well to read the reviews on the UK web site of Amazon.

Another thing to bear in mind is that the author was talking about English behaviour, not British behaviour, which means that it's not how the Scots behave, nor the Welsh, nor, indeed, the Northern Irelanders.

I found the book immensely informative and entertaining. I only wish she had written it 25 years earlier, for I would have gone to bars with my English bosses, even if I don't drink!

This book is dead-on. I'm not going to give a long boring review. Read the reviews on amazon.com site, then go and read the reviews on the same book on amazon.co.uk site, and you'll realize how dead-on Kate Fox is about the English. Very entertaining reading to the non-English. I never knew anthropology could be this interesting!!!
