I found this book to be the best pet care book I have ever read. It has opened my eyes to a lot that goes in on in the pet business, and has made me realize what I thought was right along was really wrong. I had been on the fence about vaccinating both my dog and my kids and this book was what made me make up my mind. Dr. Goldstein presents a lot of evidence to prove his case, and he makes a good argument. The section on pet food was also very eye opening. I always thought "no table food, only kibble" like most people. But since I have taken my dog off Purina and put her on a diet I make on my own, her coat and smell hav already improved and it's only been a week.
The best part about this book is almost everything in it can apply to humans too. I HIGHLY recommend.

Very informative. He definitely writes with an opinion counter to the current vet community but what he says makes a LOT of sense and really sheds light on some outdated and outright harmful practices.

Great read. Dr Goldstein shows you other ways, instead of traditional medications to heal pet of illness. Lead me to seek a Holistic vet for my four dogs. Within one week, I am seeing an improvement in playfulness and behavior.

This is a must read for all pet owners. I wish I had gotten this book sooner. Could not put the book down. We are killing our pets with drugs and this offers an alternative. READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!
