Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Not worth I purchased the APHA complete review for pharmacy 6th edition last month. It was delivered to me in 3 days, so that was fast. However, the book is badly organised and outdated. It is really sad to see chapters switched and items reshufled to make it look new or updated edition, when it is exactly the same as the previous editions, that were critisized for many erronous information. The Asthma guideline, forexample, is very old (from 2002), the oral contraceptives is a mess-from what I have chacked so far. None of the sections appear to be updated. So, my advise is, if you want to buy it, buy the oldest and cheapest edition because I don t see any difference, or just borrow from friends who bought the book in 2003-2008, all are the same. I also heard that Appleton is much better and helpful. So you can also try that one. a good book A good book for quick review to keep me on my toes. Anyone in Pharmacology or Pharmacy should have it. The best for studying at the appropriate level of depth I teach pharmacy at a medium-sized private college of pharmacy and see my students pouring over the review books every year. I believe this one gives students a level of depth that is similar to the NAPLEX exam itself. So many books I see give you these crazy hospital-based scenarios that NAPLEX would never expect. The focus of the exam is minimal competency and this book really does a good job at hitting the points that every pharmacy student should know. Things like why you shouldn't give aspirin to children with a cold, etc. Other books seem to scare the students to death unnecessarily. good and very organized the book is very organized with very good and comprehensive information, it has few mistakes. Unfortunately the book is not well glued, and whenever i flip a page it separates from the book..!!! Passed my NAPLEX I used this book and some school notes but mainly just this book and I passed my NAPLEX. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
