Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: As a Bostonian, I loved this book This was a wonderful book that took me through a practice of a dedicated surgeon. I have to say that I enjoyed how he had us travel with him through each case, some quick and some long with all the different clients woven in. As someone who has sat in the waiting room at the MSPCA it is amazing how many people and pets come and go through there. I was happy to read a behind the scenes book of someone who truly cares and knows the happiness and heartbreak of pet companionship. This book truly does explain the many levels of vet service. fresh and inviting Nick Trout's book "Tell me where it hurts" is a few days in the life of a veterinarian. Its witty and touching. Nick also has a few flashbacks, one which tells how he came to be in the animal doctoring business. boring This book is sooooooooo boring didnt think id be able to finish it....i like reading about animals but this book wasnt really about animals it was however about everything else....it went back and forth so much i forgot the point alot.....ive read better....waste of money Love this book! Loved this book! I laughed, I cried, but most of all I just really enjoyed this book. I work as a veterinary technician so I can see it from the surgeon's side and understand. I had read it before and this copy I was buying for my mother. Revealing I loved this book! It's written from a veterinarian's perspective and is so informative as to a dog's personality and the medical issues related to them. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
