Useful in the beginning stages of nursing school. Helps you understand the medical lingo if you are coming from an outsiders stand point like I was.

If given the chance I would not rate this book at all. This is a vague representation of medical dictionaries and should not be considered as your main source of reference. I bought this book to help me with my clinical case studies and research, but it did not help even a little bit. Please do not waste your money on this poor excuse of a medical reference book.

this book has helped me a tremendous amount. i am in nursing school and although this book is thick, i carry it onto the floor with me and refer to it regularly! good info, with medical Dx and nursing Dx, easy to use too.
