If you are a visual learner, this is the book for you! I had a lot of problems getting into the whole critical thinking aspect when I first starting nursing school after being out of school for 12 years. I can remember so much more because of this book.

I really like the illustrations & mnemonics in this book. It definitely helped me memorize certain disorder/conditions as I am more of a visual learner. I would recommend this to nursing students.

I got these books when nursing school started and I am so glad I did! During school it helped me memorize the MASSIVE amount of information we were required to learn in 18 months in a quick way-- Now that I am studying for NCLEX every single picture makes sense and makes it SO easy to recall information.

THIS book is a MUST HAVE for nursing school and NCLEX prep- especially if you are a visual learner like myself!!!

I just used this book to help me study for my Diabetes Exam. I found it very helpful. It had a great concept map that basically covered all of the important points. Other than that page the others were cute reminders of other important points I needed to study. It is a great supplement to help you study, but it is a little expensive for the quantity. I think all 3 books should be one large book. Overall, I do think it is worth the purchase. I plan on continuing to use it throughout nursing school.

Ok..yes this book is kinda goofy. On the flip side it does really help you remember symptoms, and yes color in the pictures nothing worse than and blankloooking coloring book with sad sick people drawn in it.

If you are in school then yes I would completely sugguest getting this without a doubt, even one of my instructors used a couple of these in a power point.
If you are a new nurse, then ya I would say if you have the money (its not that expensive) go ahead and get it to review once in awhile, it does help keep all the symptoms and diseases together in your head and will help for your careplanning at work.
