The book makes it so simple to understand dosage calculations. Explains everthing in detail in what to look for on drug labels, conversion factors, and even how to use the correct syringe. It's very well composed and easy to use and refer back to when needed.

Two of the authors are professors at the college I attended for nursing school, so, I admit I am a bit biased. Dimensional analysis is the best method for nursing drug calculations for me. This book gives enough review work and explains well. Worth the money.

Although I did not want but appreciated the review of pharmacology, what I was looking for the most was a step by step illustration of several proportion problems that led into the dosage calculations using similar step by step formats; but I was disappointed because this book does not do that and with what I paid for this book and the description that was provided that's what I was led to believe this book would provide. So I'm still at the same point I was at in the beginning, looking for a book to help refreshen my memory on proportions although I have found excellent material else where to help me with dosage calculations themselves.
