I ordered this book but needed a different edition. This was a great book!!! The matrix model is useful for lit reviews in MANY fields!!! I used it for numerous papers and to sum up my research...The Table formatting makes all the information easy to review and succinct! I can look back at my Matrix and remember the articles I read right away from the descriptions. I learned how to format them properly from this book's examples.

I bought this book for help on writing a master's thesis. I had no idea how to write a literature review and this book was helpful in just giving me a foundation of where to start.

This book is a general help with literature reviews. However, it is not anything special. It covers general material and offers a general approach and doesn't do anything SUPER, just does it MEDIOCRE.
Buy it if you have or need one more book to read.

I wish I'd read this book when I was starting my doctoral program. It is easy to read, almost too simplistic in some spots. Overall helpful and logical. Recommend for doctoral students.
