Riveting! This book is an incredible well-written narrative about a normal guy thrust into a bizarre, nightmarish world. The author, Larry Johnson, risks everything and makes the brave decision to become a whistleblower and expose a seemingly untouchable company that had gone so far as to commit murder! As a result he was stalked and received death threats.

I loved this book. The beginning was hilarious-- the cast of characters are obsessed with sci-fi and wear bike helmets in their car (think a Star Trek convention times a million). The middle of the book was graphic and disturbing. By the end I was literally in tears. Soon, however, my sadness turned to outrage over what this company was getting away with!

The author is incredibly brave to stand up for what is right. After reading this book, I have only respect and admiration for Larry Johnson.

Buy this book!! You will be amused, disgusted and enthralled!

The author wasn't hired by Alcor until well after Ted Williams' suspension. He was living and working in another state at the time.

He stole from Alcor, its living members, and patients. He then violated court orders and created this work of pure fiction.

He isn't fleeing death threats, he's fleeing warrants in several states for his arrest.

Don't waste your money supporting a criminal.

It took a lot of courage to do what the author did to get the documentation on what was going on at this company. This is a must read if you are interested in what happened to one of the greatest sports hero's of our time - Ted Williams. I wonder why the state attorneys of Arizona and Florida dropped the ball and distanced themselves from what this non-regulated company was doing with the bodies of those that signed up for cryonics-- they had the evidence right there in front of them. They should have prosecuted these people -- and returned Ted's remains to his family for the proper burial that Ted wanted.... And the PETA people should be outraged at the inhumane experimentation done on animals --Thank you Mr Johnson for letting us know what is going on in this world cause we are in a sad state of moral decline..........

Frozen was very interesting. I felt the author had big axes to grind. Some of the things he described were irrevalent to the end result.

I am only half-way through this book, but I have to say that I would buy it again in a heartbeat! Larry Johnson is a great storyteller - his story is very detailed and flows well. I heard about this book on a morning radio show that interviewed Larry Johnson - and it lived up to the hype. In addition to sharing details about Alcor, Larry also shares details about his personal life and how that impacted his decisions, etc... He really leaves no stone unturned!
