This is the current edition of Emergency care. I find that the text is easy to read and the CD is also an excellent resource.

This book will tell you everything you need to know about EMS. From keeping a positive mental attitude to pulling traction on a broken femur.

Sidenote: I took an EMT course at the University in town and used this book instead of the required text. I ended up with an A- for a final grade.

this was a required item for my son's EMT course starting in january. I priced thsi in a lot of places and was glad to have found it here. I'm sure he will be very happy that it wasn't much more $$$$$. He will be using this every day for 3 months so I know it is worth the price.

It's required for my class and I got what I needed. Instead of rating the book this review is for Amazon. GREAT SERVICE! It's awesome when you can get what you need from the comfort of home. I would recommend the site to anyone. Prices are fair and the fact you have options leaves little room to complain. Way to go gals!(AMAZON, LOL) But really the book is something I intend to keep after my class. The information it contains is worth reading a 3rd or 4th time.
