Summaries and Customer Reviews are supplied by Amazon.com

Summary:

This work presents the full history of the Exploded Planet hypothesis. There is ample evidence across our solar system of cataclysmic and catastrophic destruction events, and many planets are scarred from incredible impacts, and teeter in their orbits from unexplained causes. Rejecting naturalist and materialist assumptions of catastrophism forwarded by other researchers, Farrell seriously asserts that the causes are based in ancient myths of a Cosmic War in the heavens. Incorporating extraterrestrial artefacts, cutting-edge ideas in contemporary physics, and the texts of ancient myths into his argument, Farrell maintains that an ancient interplanetary war was fought in our own solar system with weapons of extraordinary power and sophistication. The book includes: secret technology behind the ancient Tablets of Destinies, the ancient texts telling of such destructions: from Sumeria (Tiamats destruction by Marduk), Egypt (Edfu and the Mars connections), Greece (Saturns role in the War of the Titans) and the ancient Americas; ancient and current mechanisms which could explode planets; and, the true scientific reason for our solar system's asteroid belt.

A tall order.
Customer Rating:  Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5

We are being asked by the author to believe his concliusion , which seem at times , far fetched , and yet , well researched , well informed, and discomfortingly logical. Certainly for answer seekers about our solar system history. Have we been here before?

You may want to start with his other books, they lead up to this

Don't get me wrong, this book is awesome. If I had read it before any of the author's previous works though, I would have completely dismissed it.

I had always taken the ancient astronaut idea with a grain of salt. Anyone who hears the stories of Quetzecoatl and a few others can see that it is possible, even likely that travelers have visited Earth in the past. The modern question of aliens is not a subject covered here, nor should it be.

This book is basically an investigation of esoteric myth and science combined with a modern understanding of physics. To see if they converge at all. And they do, fantastically.

The place to really start though is not here. After reading the book: "SS: Brotherhood of the Bell" by the same author, I was convinced that Dr. Farrell is doing his homework. That subject I am very familiar with, which enabled me to verify and trust the author's work. In that book, he kept referring to the Giza Death Star Series and Reich of the Black Sun, which I had to read because SS Brotherhood was so awesome. I was not disappointed.

After reading and thoroughly enjoying SS: Brotherhood of the Bell, I read and really took seriously the Giza Death Star books (3 of them). I have become convinced through this author's arguments that something took place in our solar sytem long, long ago. That the pyramids represent proof of a highly advanced form of physics involved with their technological purpose: weaponry.

It is far-fetched, but actually pretty reasonable if you read the arguments and try to understand the science.

This book follows the Giza Death Star books and may not be the best place to start, unless your already at a place where this stuff seems reasonable. Then by all means. Either way, don't pass it up. It's an extremely valuable nugget of that piece we are all looking for: Meaning.

Great reading for the open minded. You are wasting your time if you read it with skepticism.

Read Zecharia Sitchin instead!
Customer Rating:  Score = 2 Score = 2 Score = 2 Score = 2 Score = 2

I have not read this book, but did buy and read The Giza Deathstar. If THIS book is written as densely, most readers will give up. I can't buy his premise that a civilization on Earth or on another planet caused the Asteroid Belt.

If all the remnants of the asteroids were mushed together in a planet, that planet would be very small, about the size of Mars. I don't think that intelligent life as we know it could live on a planet this size and so far away from the sun. Earth can be compared to the Goldilocks story: We are not too hot, nor too cold in our orbit around the sun. Any planet further out than Earth is and always was dead.

Read some of Sitchin's books, or just one of his books, and you will not have to slog through it, but rather be captured by information that makes sense.

Good Lord - Petroglyphs showing Plasma weaponry warfare?
Customer Rating:  Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5 Score = 5

This is a serious and sobering read, even though it plods along like a college thesis.

After reading it for the first time, I put it down to digest the data for a month then picked it up and re-read it thoroughly with a good dictionary and gained a clearer and shocking understanding of the thesis and the great span of time covered in the book.

Photos and illustrations reveal some mind-boggling connections between the native American petroglyphs' artists who apparently witnessed scalar weaponry plasma discharges eons ago, (Shades of "Doc Smith"!) then carved the memories onto rocks for modern man to interpret as cute squatting men. Enjoy.
