My 5 1/2 yr old son thoroughly enjoys this book. He is in the "why" stage and this book helps me teach him just that when it comes to the body. We are working our way through the whole book page by page each night. I highly recommend this book along with the other first encyclopedias by DK. We have the Space one and are looking to get more for our collection.

I bought this book for my 7 year old grandson that is very interested in the body and wants to be a doctor. Of all the things he got for Christmas, he wanted to sit with me and for me to help him read this book.

The pictures in this book are interesting, colorful, and so non threatening. It is age appropriate for anyone looking for information about the human body who wants some facts and is not looking for a diagnosis as in a medial book.

This is a great book for kids about the human body. My four year old loves reading and looking at this book and she has retained more information than I thought about the human body. It has been a great starting place for many discussions about the body - how blood works really fascinates her. The pictures are great and it has enough information on each page to be informative but not too boring. A great resource for young children about how the body works.
