Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Just what you need to study for the GMAT This and all the other Manhattan GMAT guides were really helpful in helping me prep for the GMAT. My colleagues had recommended them over other guides and I continue to do the same after getting the score I needed on my first try. A must for math virgins wanting to take or retake the gmat The Manhattan series was the most helpful for me on my GMAT because other GMAT prep books only shows time saving or test taking tips but does not go into details about the various topics which I needed because I don't have a strong quantitative base. In fact, I didn't know even the basic idea of number properties or even odd plus odd is even (must have been asleep in math class) and so these guides were a must for me. Except for the critical reasoning guide, I give them all five stars +++! Excellent Review Book The World Translations book, like all of Manhattan GMAT's review books, is excellent. It covers all of the basics, which is great if you need a refresher, as well as the advanced concepts, which is perfect if you're shooting for a 700+ score. Comprehensive book. I am one of the students who are good at Math and not so good at English. I wanted to hone my Math skills and get a feel of GMAT problems. This book seems to do just that. Most of the material covered in this book is like review for me and the strategies taught in this book are not new to me except a few of them. So, I am happy with this book. Good coverage of the basics This book does a very god job of covering Rate x Time=Distance problems, work problems, probability problems, and overlapping sets problems. It is also a major improvement over the previous edition in all areas. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
