I would buy again! QRI4 very helpful for this busy teacher Customer Rating: QRI4 was first introduced to me as I was getting my reading endorsement. My school is VERY into DIBLZ and does not offer the upper grades a DRA kit (not too unhappy about that given the length of each assessment) so I had to come up with a better assessment for my reading class. This tool is one of a few good resources for me (concepts of print is very good as well: Concepts About Print: What Have Children Learned About the Way We Print Language? and offers me a good idea of what I need to teach and what the students are doing well. It is handy for folks who dont yet know a lot about reading assessments as well as those of us who are total geeks. It's quick, it's easy, it's accurate, and it is USEFUL best of all. Now go. Assess kids 'til yer hearts content. great condition Customer Rating: This book was sent fast and it was brand new. I need this book for grad school for the next two years and it was cheap on amazon. It's a great assessment tool. Very good informal reading assessment. Customer Rating:  Overall the QRI-4 is an excellent, criterion referenced reading assessment, for both fluency and comprehension. There are a number of ways to use the test - all very well explained by the knowledgeable authors; who also offer interpretation/diagnostic information and recommendations for intervention. I am a reading teacher and have used the past edition QRI-3 for years. My only complaint about #4 is that there are not more passages (there are some) different than the QRI-3. However, if you are new to the test, this is a non-issue. Excellent Customer Rating: The QRI 4 is an excellent and informative assessment of reading comprehension.
