Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Book NOT Helpful. DON'T WASTE MONEY Customer Rating:   I bought this book for my stepson. This kid is an excellent student and a very good study. Prior to receiving this book he took a sample test and passed. We felt this book would help to enhance his score on the actual test. After three weeks of vigorous study we felt this would propel his score even higher than his initial practice score. He took the actual test and score identical to his practice test. He said there was nothing from his study of this book and CD that helped. Although he passed and is going into the military, he would NOT recommend this book to anyone. Awesome Book Customer Rating: I followed the directions in the book as much as I could with the time I had. Scored 90 on AFQT and high marks in all areas; enough to qualify for every job in the military. My scores a few years ago without it are not worth mentioning because they were so bad. Thanks to this book I am eligible for some exciting things! Call me crazy buuut.... Customer Rating: Okay to start I have to say that I haven't had any Math or English classes since college in 2003. I scored a 69% on the Asvab test. I studied the Math and English sections of this book and being honest I think they helped BUT...the test has hardly none of that info on it. Every year they change this test and I swear over 3/4 of what I saw on the test was NOT IN THIS BOOK! I am no genius but like I said I have a college degree and think I am compotent enough to study and attain material. It just really did not pay off. I'm glad I had the book as a reference but their has to be better material out there to prepare you...IN ADDITION to this book, all I'm sayin is don't depend on it! I did and got screwed for what I was trying to do in the military...I'll retake it and study a different way. Hopefully I can get a good score like most people on this "forum". This is a real review and not OUTDATED...I just took the test 2 days ago as of 8/26/2009 Huge book! Customer Rating: I never ended up using this book as I went to the library and checked out books from there. Wish I would have thought about that in the first place. For those of you who do not have that option, the book has a lot of information and from flipping through it, it looked like it had some good review questions, test and final exam. Where is it? Customer Rating: Im sure it is a good book, but I ordered it through Amazon and never recieved it. It says delivered on the 11th but it is no where in sight.
