Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Weak Bilingual Glossary Kaplan gives an extensive glossary in which no discrimination is offered. When the same word or phrase has three or four different translations, there is no explanation whatsoever, either through synonyms in parentheses or explanations, whether using parentheses or not, to distinguish one from the other. The inevitable result will be poor translations. Now that I have it, I could not work without it. Kaplan's English-Spanish/Spanish-English Legal Dictionary is a great time-saving, quality assurance tool that no legal translator can afford not to have. Now that I have it, I regret all the time wasted looking for legal terms at poorer dictiionaries, the Internet, etc., always making a final check in Merriam-Webester's. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
