I had a book like this many years ago and lost it; I am glad I found it again. Even though I am not fluent in French, this book helps me a lot, makes my reading and writing easier...

This is a good refernce in paperback, but on Kindle you can't search to a specific verb and the small type on the pages is unreadable.

In this so-called Kindle edition, much of the type face is so light as to be completely unreadable on the Kindle. Do NOT get the Kindle version of this book (which is otherwise a great book). Does anybody who prepares these "Kindle" editions for the publishers ever actually look at them on a real Kindle?

BTW, I have the Kindle DX, so this is not a size issue.

This book may be good in a paper format, but do not buy it for the Kindle. You cannot change the font on pages that were scanned as images (most of the pages you would want to use), and they are unreadable on the Kindle.

Taking an intro to French in college can be one of the most daunting things. Especially when you are not a teenager and you can no longer absorb material like a sponge, the way you did when you were a little kid. But, its even more daunting when learning Spanish in junior high school just didn't go so well whatsoever. I was looking for something substantial to help me with my studies. I was in no mood to pay for the outrageous price of Rosetta Stone, so I opted for the Fluenz French program. But having extra material to help me on my way to becoming fully immersed in everything French, I definitely needed something more. I just happened to be browsing online when i stumbled upon this French verb book many times over. I held off on buying it, but was intrigued by the CD Rom software. However, it was the goldbox deal of the day and i thought for the price, it was reasonable. I received the product today and its so worth it. Just a wonderful investment & a great study guide. The purchase alone is worth the CD that's included. The software lets you take quizzes and tests in different formats to help you enhance your knowledge of the language. Example: Sentence Completion Exercises to fill in the blanks, dialogue exercises to fill in the appropriate response, word completion etc. Best part is, it even supplies a button that provides the explanation to the answers. The book is a decent size, but I didn't expect it to have so many pages. It's almost as thick as a Twilight novel! Pick this winner up because it's a wonderful guide to the only romance language in my humble opinion.
