Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: The Biology of Belief I enjoyed this audio book. Dr. Lipton's voice is easy to listen to.The first 2 cd's have a plethura of Brain Cramp It is kinda technical for the first half of the book then makes sense as you finish the book. Enlightening I couldn't put this book down. I found it informative in an understandable way. It shares scientific knowledge that helps personal freedom which I find very exciting reading. The world stopped: a new perspective. This book bridges the gap between the outmoded Newtonian physics and Quantum physics as they relate to human health and medicine. When you have finished this amazing, well written book, you will never view allopathic medicine the same again. And, regardless of your current beliefs, or lack thereof, you will come away with a feeling of real spiritual connection. Too Technical for Me After reading several other books in this genre, I finally picked this up due to a recommendation from a seminar I recently attended. Unfortunately, I found this book to be too technical, almost too scientific in discussing cells and biology and various studies done. It is more like reading a dissertation, reminding me of my college days and had very little information on how to actually use the information for our own benefit in our daily lives. This was, after all, why I was reading the book, as I already bought into the ideology after reading other authors on the same topic. So, if you are looking for a very technical scientific read, this is perfect, if like myself, you are looking for a way to actually adjust your beliefs to instigate change, there is no information here to acomplish that. There is only a mention of the psych-k website and that they may be able to help, which is a infomercial in a book as far as I am concerned. The psych-k website naturally has similar reviews about being one big infomercial too. Not impressed with this work, I would stick with other authors devoted to the topic of beliefs and how we shape our lives. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
