Contains enough information to provide general understanding of the subject without going into lengthy and time consuming discourses. Use of case law to illustrate theortic principles works well. Best International Law book available Customer Rating: If you are looking for an International Law hornbook...this is the best. The explanations are clear and concise, and the organization of the book is flawless. Professor Murphy is perhaps the most brilliant legal mind in this area and so it is no wonder that his book is top notch. I would recommend this book for anyone studying International Law! Excellent International Law Treatise Customer Rating: Probably the best introduction to the topic for an American. Covers all important aspects of international law and explains historical and current U.S. positions. Very well written.
