A waste of time and money. Get a lawyer if you really care about your child. You will not find any answers in this book. I found that out the hard way.

An absolute must for anyone who sees themselves as being involved in, or maybe even in the midst of, any sort of custody issue. The book lays it on the line as far as answering questions and direct facts are concerned. If you have any questions regarding custody this book is a must have. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I has eased my mind and helped me be better prepared in all aspects of custody.

This book has been the saving grace of my custody case! Don't we all think that the results of a hearing in court will automatically side with truth? Not unless you are armed and ready, providing every bit of evidence and shred of proof possible. Guy's book prepared me for the battle for my child and gave me tips and tools to prove to the court the evidence necessary for them to make the most informed and appropriate decision..........to win custody of my child! I wasn't going to go through this process without doing my own homework and it was all laid out in the pages of this book. The next steps were to follow Guy White's proven advice. Was the process easy? No, but I was much smarter and more prepared after reading this book. Don't be stupid.......go in with your eyes open and your facts in order.

The author does a fine job of outlining the problems with the lawyers, and judges even the system. However, he does a very poor job of actually telling you how to deal with the problems. Even the information he gives doesn't follow through. What do you do if you are accused of creating evidence? Are there kinds of evidence that will make you look like you are sticking your nose in the other parent's business where it does not belong? All in all, if you are not one of Mr. White's personal friends, reviewing this book as a favor you won't find much help here. Since I don't have the money to hire a PI, I am screwed. I am really out-gunned by my x, as far as money is concerned so this book pretty much convinced me to settle for whatever he is willing to give me.

This guy loves telling his own war stories and blowing his own horn. Guy, is the only good guy in this book. He writes as though he invented being a detective. The information in this book is limited in scope to primarily Scottsdale, Arizona and is as general as the horoscope in the newspaper.

Things he tells you that won't work:

Hire a good attorney. But he doesn't tell you how to do that. He says there aren't many out here, he even sued one. He says they will shake you down and lie to you about your case.

Pay your attorney a small retainer. Attorneys, especially good attorneys, don't accept small retainers.

Advice like, "stay on top of your attorney, but don't harass them", good trick. Just how are you suppose to do that? By the third unanswered call in 30 days the attorney thinks you are a jerk.

Be aggressive, but not too aggressive. What does that mean?

Wants you to do that you can't afford... Hire Guy J. White. Have a family attorney there when you hire a child custody attorney. Pay someone to gather medical and financial records. Expensive and probably illegal.

There is nothing original in this book. How many times have you seen the phrase, "People don't plan to fail; they fail to plan." well it is in this book also. Don't waste your money.
