When i ordered this frothing mug I had just bought my espresso machine. I was using a Coffee mug to steam my milk (witch was very messy). I bought the Krups because using a mug just was not working. When it came in it was smaller than i thought it should be. I was skeptical but I tried it out and i love it! It is the perfect size. If you have a 4 cup espresso maker I highly recommend this product, it is like the two were made for each other.

I bought this book to pull together design of a website/e-book/pdf print project.
I can say that I've read it, but the value is in its visual graphics and text design.
It's a keeper -- for your reference shelf (read it first before you put it on the shelf).

The information in this book Is really good, but the odd page number placement while unique can be confusing at first, the font is sooooo tiny that it's hard to read, even with my glasses on I have to squint a lot, to read it and I end up not making the connection between the content and examples because I am so focused on reading the small type. A PDF version of this book would be ideal because you could zoom in and read it. Overall though the information is good, just get you one of those magnifying bookmarks or something to make the reading experience more pleasant.

I would highly recommend this book. The type is small but not unreadable. I didn't know a thing about graphic design and this book has helped me tremendously. It covers all of the basics thoroughly and is more interesting to read than most other graphic design instruction books I have seen. There are good examples of every concept presented, so you can see exactly what they are trying to illustrate. It covers everything from choosing text to overall layout, color selection, etc.

After reading some of the reviews, I was not going to purchase this book because of complaints about what some consider hard-to-read type. SO GLAD I CHANGED MY MIND! This book is filled with valuable insight, tips and know-how that has greatly expanded my view on graphic design. I appreciated how the book dedicated a chapter to various elements of design (typography, color, images, etc.)-- without seeming like a brief overview.

Definitely worth the money!
