This was a great read! It pretty much draws you in from the very beginning and keeps you wanting to know more. I would definitely suggest this book to anyone who is interested in UFO's...in fact; you must read this if you are. The author does an excellent job of documenting cases and providing FACTS to back them up. This isn't mass hallucinations, or your average civilian cases-these are testimonies of airline pilots, naval officers, air force personnel, etc.. all the way up to the highest echelons in our government who witness these aerial vehicles. With such an abundance of evidence presented in this book the UFO phenomenon, at the very least, deserves a critical look from the scientific community. You won't be disappointed. Tim Good has done a very thorough and professional job in researching and summarizing a hundred or so of the best documented interactions between ET craft and military installations and pilots over the past 60 years. All the cases detailed are multiple-witness with either radar tracking records or otherwise documented official recognition. I had not before realized that the USAF & Navy privately admit to having lost over 8,000 interceptor aircraft in attempting to engage ET craft. How they continue to publicly cover this up as 'training accidents' and such is astounding.

The book contains sections on some of the high-profile multiple-witness cases of incidents between ET craft and the military in Brazil, in China and the USSR and Mr. Good has gathered a lot of new and deeply researched material.

If I have one criticism of the book it would be that the necessarily factual and evidence-based reporting of the incidents makes for a rather fragmented narrative, free of speculation and flowing prose. It's a reference book rather than a novel, to be read in bite-sized chunks rather than one long session. As long as you understand this, you'll find the book an eye-opener. It's a work of scientific investigation and of fact, rather than of speculation and opinion.

Every pilot of my acquaintance either has personal experience of encounters with UFOs, or has friends in the aviation community who have. I have seen them myself on 2 occasions whilst flying. They are seen every day, all over the earth by pilots everywhere. Due to government suppression of sightings and attempts to ridicule witnesses, pilots don't bother reporting them anymore, but certainly they talk to each other. So the extent of interaction over the past 60 years revealed in the book is welcome confirmation. The news media unfortunately colludes with the policy, so the cover-up continues. If the policy is forced to change suddenly, many of the 'flat earthers' in the population who choose to cling to the security offered by redundant belief systems and have hitherto refused to confront the evidence may face a major paradigm shift. The end of inter-human conflict and war? The end of religion as we know it? Let's hope so.

It's clear that there is a very small portion of credible UFO cases that cannot be explained away by any natural phenomena. Certainly that portion of the unexplained is often bizarre, disturbing or quite fantastical - and that's without even considering the purported abduction cases. HOWEVER, if you are TRULY objective, and BEFORE you make the ENORMOUS leap to concluding that aliens from space have long been "vacationing" on our planet, you need to be aware of the physics and vast distance/travel time impossibilities which absolutely rule out such a theory. Need scientific proof? See this article [...]as it powerfully refutes such thinking, revealing that such UFO sightings must have another explanation (a SUPERnatural one) besides aliens buzzing our planet!

Ignore people that write "reviews" whining about not having enough pictures (I think they're the type that looks at pictures and big print and aren't capable of really reading a book or perhaps can't comprehend something like this). This is an excellent book and presents a lot of great information on military encounters with UFO's from the Second World War onward in one volume. Some of the information has been presented before? Big deal. This volume puts in one handy reference and shows the collusion of government, militaries (not just the corrupt U.S. government and military) to withhold and deny from the people the truth of extra-terrestrial life and visitions to our world. All in the name of they know better than the people do, the same reasoning that sticks us with the electoral college in presidential elections. Maybe they're afraid of this truth's effect on religions (most of which preach obedience to government to keep their tax exempt status and wealth) or the smug assumption that humans are the highest evolved life form in the universe and our technology is the best. We aren't and it isn't.

Any lingering doubts I may have had regarding the extistence of extra-terrestrial life, visitions to this planet from other worlds, and the duplicity of the government in keeping those facts secret were blown away by this excellent book. The facts presented here cannot be disputed, despite the whining of a childish few want more pictures because they're too lazy to read. Mr. Good has done a tremdendous service to people with this book, and his other published works. I highly recommend it.

As a former alien abduction victim, I was looking forward to this book. But it has very little insight and seems to be culled from other areas. If it's your first UFO read, then get it, but if you are an expert in UFO lit like me, I hold two special degrees from the Venusian College in the Ozarks, you might be bored.

I'm still looking for answers for my own abduction. Since I was implanted with some type of alien device, I wanted to find out what is new in the UFO implanted alien device area but nothing has changed since the 70's. Yes, the alien device is in your head, and they are trying to control you.

That's the same line. But who is it? What rays are they now using? Are the aliens working with the Bush regime to mine oil for their ships?

Can we get another opinion? We need harsh truths to Know to defeat the Bush regime alien empire alliance.
