This book is great! I read it first and it has some really wonderful information for parents too! There is no scientific mumbo jumbo. Just straight forward basic information that really helps. For the kids, it is an awesome resourse! They can understand it, the book is an easy read for them and there are great tips for them to use. I think this book would make any child with ADHD feel better about themselves! This book is a MUST HAVE!!!
Good book but my kid wouldn't read it
It was a good book it gave me a lot of information but my kid wouldn't read it . . ADHD go figure.... but it does have some good points
Great Book for Kids
My son is in fourth grade and has ADHD. This is a great book! Very understandable for kids. It doesn't "talk down" to them either. It gives a lot of practical tips on ways kids can handle their ADHD. I would highly recommend it as there aren't very many books out there to help kids with ADHD improve their social skills.
i have ADD.
I have ADD and it cant focus in school unless i am in P.E. because I am going and going and not sittting on a chair. I am incredably bright but I cant sit still. And our standerdize tests are coming and sitting in a chair and write an essay or think about math wont be easy. I am reading and it will help me with these tips.
Not a winner in our home
I didn't really care for this book, nor did my son. Neither of us was really impressed with it and it didn't give us any ideas to try to help with distraction.
