this is a must have for anyone working with children with autism. the goals and objectives are very functional and written in a way that are simple and easy to implement. this is a resource that you will actually USE and won't collect dust on your book shelf!

As a new ABA provider for students with autism, I found this book to be invaluable. It was recommended by several of my supervisors. This book is clearly organized and is presented in language that is understandable and concise. After reading this book, I believe that parents and educators alike should purchase this book. There are some great teachniques and strategies for bedtime, toilet training, compliance, ect. Parents with children that are typically developing would also benefit greatly from this book.

This book gives a parent, teacher, or any other person who has an autistic child how to understand the reason for the child's behavior and the how to manage this behavior. It is an excellent source to understand how children can be taught in a classroom setting, or in a different enviornment. As a grandparent of two autistic children this book has helped me understand their behavioral patterns. I was able to see how their classroom instuction has followed many of the recommendations mentioned in this book.

A nice book, but something about it made me not really wanting to read it and I love reading.
Not sure what it was, it is okay, depends on the person. Parent probably would not enjoy it, a person in the practice would.
