This book was given to me by my principal. It totally changed (and improved) my classroom management. Where I was struggling to get student attention and focus them and "threatening" them, now I have a plan...As a music teacher, I've been through some classes from august to mid-year (as I write this review) and not had to discipline ONCE!!!

Teachers, this book is a MUST read! This book is well written, an easy read, and very insightful.

If you don't have this one, get it. Read parts of it every year before school starts. Give it as a gift to student teachers and have an extra on hand for struggling teachers. It contains everything that you need to manage a classroom and handle difficult situations. I don't have to say anything else about it. Forget the seminars and workshops--just read it and apply it!
