It provides a wealth of useful information on various topics. The best chapters in the text are the Unit and Lesson Planning and the goal's and Objectives. Borich breaks down EXACTLY how to compose a great behavioral objective. Furthermore, he gives concrete examples that are great. I would recommend this text to anyone who is an education major. A MUST BUY. Effective Teaching Methods Textbook (6th Edition) Customer Rating: I had to get this book for one of my college classes and I think that it does include significant information that can help future teachers. In addition, Amazon shipped this book quicker than it was supposed to which was great because I needed it for a class asap. Required, but poor quality Customer Rating:  This text may have been required by the course I took, but it is a low quality test written in the obscure, academic way that gives textbooks bad name. It takes an interesting subject and makes it boring. very pleased Customer Rating: I was pleased to receive this book in a timely matter. It was in good condition when I received it.
