This was worth the money. I've learned more about the IPhone and I've already had it a year. Very disappointing!!! Generally they really aren't for dummies, but are for smart people who are just starting with a particular topic or area, so they start at the basics and build from there. review of iphone for dummies Customer Rating: This is a great book with alot of info for new and even existing IPhone users. Alot of tips and hints. I enjoyed it very much These Reviews Are Outdated! Not for 3G-S or 3.0 Software! Customer Rating: I am not reviewing this book, as I have not read it. I am posting this to point out that the reviews that have been posted are not for this book. It is readily apparent that the reviews are outdated because the book is for the iPhone 3G and 3G-S. The iPhone 3G-S did not go on the markent until June of 2009, and most of the reviews pre-date that period. The 3.0 software update that was released in June of 2009 added a very significant number of features to all iPhones (the original iPhone, the iPhone 3G, and the new iPhone 3G-S). Neither the 3.0 software update OR the 3G-S were available when most of these reviews were written, so they are irrelevent. What, what? Customer Rating: Book released on August 2009. Reviews outdated, going back years in the past. Not one review applies to this supposedly new release? What is going on? Someone is dragging their little behind on the updates, that is what is going on! Yet, they offer 16 reviews on what? The series of ....for Dummies Books? Great! But what does it have to do with the new release. Okey, I finally came undone. This insignificant issue got the best of me. But please don't offer so many reviews on a new release when not one pertains to said release. Imagine if they did that with food items: advertised as new but with expiration dates way past! If amazon needs someone like me to update crap in general I may be available for the right price! In the meantime please do not include 16 reviews that have nothing to do with the book being reviewed!
