Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Immediately useful in the computer lab or in your home I purchased this book as part of a technology class I am taking. I teach elementary art and technology. This book does a great job of getting the reader involved in using the technology as a learning tool right away. It clearly explains the advantages of newer technologies and the power they can have to increase your ability to learn, collaborate, and teach. good for general introduction to I had an idea about a variety of the topics presented in this text and these were supported. Additionally the text provided educational references for additional material. Very short and light on content more of an overview of general topics. Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools... Thanks for the book Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms. I am enjoying it. Fast shipping. Not Really Worth the RUsh When I first saw the title of this book, and looked at the contents page, I went to the expense of having it rushed to me. As it turns out, I could have waited and saved the extra expense. The book, whilst providing some useful, and, at times, useful information, is written and structured in a style which really belongs to blogs and wikis. I found that in order to get to the information that I wanted and needed, I had to skim through a chatty style of rather superficial content: each chapter could really have been condensed into a few paragraphs. I think the intent is laudable but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired for the medium of a book. Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts by Will Richardson The posting promised a new book at a very reasonable price. I received a new book within 10 days at the declared price. I received exactly what was promised. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
