Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Scrum bible It is really the scrum bible. If you want to start with this process you should build the fundamentals. The essential introduction to Scrum This was the first book I ever read on scrum. Actually the first on any agile software development topic. I read this book after a peer in my organization started doing scrum with his teams. He gave a brief overview of how it worked and I was immediately interested in trying it out as an alternative to the waterfall project management we were currently using. Essential reading for anyone starting out with Scrum agile development This book is essential reading for anyone starting out with agile software development using Scrum. As a management methodology, Scrum is relatively simple to implement but has truly transformational effects! I have implemented Scrum in many software development teams now, which I regularly blog about on the All About Agile blog. This book really does make a great introduction to the process of Scrum, and you will find tons more free information on Scrum and many other aspects of agile software development here: [...] I thoroughly recommend this book to all agile newbies :-) My 1st scrum book Easy and clear to read within a day. A good read if you want to be convinced why you should try Scrum This is a gentle introduction to Scrum, written mainly for the people who manage programmers and software development projects. It doesn't so much teach how to implement Scrum, as it is a comforting explanation of why you should try it, and why it will work for you. Especially when everything else has failed. It also shows how to sell the methodology to the programmers who will be living with it, and to senior managers, business peers, and software customers. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
