the book and DVD has helped us a lot, now we are not left in the dark, to questions we had!

I've always used Dummy books when switching operating systems or learning new programs. This one didn't have as much help as I had hoped for turning off annoying messages or simple things in the programs. It's been 50-50 which still makes it worth the purchase

This is a good book. It simplifies the "new" Windows 7 program and how to navigate around it. Nice. Absolutely no problems with the seller being quick to mail it to me and it was packaged accordingly. The shipping and handling was affordable.

Did I expect too much? I've been stumped regarding the simple procedure of downloading pictures and labeling them in groups. Somehow my Windows 7 automatically downloads them and I have to label each one individually afterwards. I don't know if the fault lies with Windows 7, the book, me, or all 3, but the book wasn't too helpful in getting me out of this jam.

My wife and I upgraded to Windows 7 about a month ago. This book is a great resource to learn the ins and outs of Windows 7. I highly recommend the book and the accompanying DVD.
