Not all Wii programs are as intuitive as you might expect. Plus, there are hints that one can apply to make the games easier to get into and perform with some initial level of understanding. Wii for Dummies did just what I wanted by giving me a reasonable degree of info on the nuances of each game so I could get into them without looking like a klutz.

Book arrived November 16th and I ordered it on November 6th but it did not leave wearhouse within 24 hours as promised. The book was in excellent shape and I almost got it for free due to the ridicously low price. My only complaint is that the seller and/or the USPS does not provide any Tracking information to know when the package will arrive. If you are not anxious to keep up with your packages travels, then this seller will not disapoint you. If you are like me and want to know when a package will arrive, you may want to chose another merchant.

This is a great book for folks just trying to learn the fundamentals of hooking up and using a WII. It's especially useful for the baby boom generation who no longer have young people living at home to show them how to do it. I recommend it highly.

The book also gives you insights on never-before relvealed exclusive websites, exclusively made for the Nintendo Wii that you can go to surfing the internet by the Wii internet cahannel, that can allow you to play music online like finetune.com/wii as internet radio, and wiitube.com, which is a Wii version of Youtube, made for Wii owners, and a search engine called clusty.com, that works just as good as bing from Microsoft and Google for the P.C.

All in all, I was definitely impressed with the book Wii For Dummies, but I honestly though did wish they could've brought out a little bit more about the way you can simply install the Wii into your TV or home theater. But anyway, Wii For Dummies really is a great book for anyone who just loves and breathes the Nintendo Wii, but wants to know a little bit more than meets the gamers' skill. I absolutely recommend this book as a must have for any Wii-head heart and soul. This might be not as strong as a simple strategy guide, but it does give out a lot more for the Wii than meets the mind and hand of the Wii-mote.
